Inspired by a 19th century Pennsylvanian Distiller’s recipe, we are working to bring back this lost gem of distillation. As with all Wigle products, this handcrafted spirit is made from scratch in our copper pot still in very small batches, using only organic ingredients and local, heirloom grains.”

Fossil Point Pinot Noir

This 2013 Edna Valley Pinot Noir is great.  “In the Edna Valley AVA, our vines are never far from the influence of the sea.  Sunny afternoons yield daily to brisk marine breezes, and our climate is directly shaped by the seasonal currents of the Pacific Ocean.  Even our soils of calcareous shale and coarse sand were uplifted from the ancient sea floor and weathered into place over the millennia.  Fossil Point pays tribute to this bond between sea and vine.”

Elouan Pinot Noir Oregon

ELOUAN – An Oregon Pinot Noir, crafted by Californian winemakers.

Elouan Pinot Noir emulates the successful sourcing philosophy we introduced with Meiomi: blending the top Pinot Noir regions together for a richer, more complex style than what you could achieve by sourcing from one small area. In this instance, our grapes are grown in the great Oregon Valleys of Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue. The diversity of these cool climate areas elongates the growing season, developing intense structure, while maintaining a vibrant acidity to differentiate it from any California Pinot Noir.

Charles & Charles Chardonnay

2012 Chardonnay – Charles & Charles

From the Winemaker: “The aromas start with notes of apple blossoms, lemon peel and subtle mango, and continue into mineral and wet slate notes with background of sweet pear, toasted spices and vanilla. On the palate you’re first hit with crisp apple and orange rind with tremendous focus, and length. The wine walks a beautiful line between rich full flavors and finesse. There’s luscious fruit and a touch of new oak without ever getting heavy or clumsy.”

Delice de Bourgogne has a white, bloomy and pungent rind because of the Penicilium Candidum mold. Skinos Mastiha Liqueur – Hailing from the small Greek island of Chios, Mastiha liqueur is a Mediterranean tradition that dates back to the ancient world. To create Skinos Mastiha Liqueur, the Mastiha tree is harvested for its resin once per year in the months of June and July. Small cuts are made in the tree bark which releases small amounts of resin that are collected over ten to twenty days. It is then transferred to the village in wooden casks where the highest quality Mastiha is selected and cleaned. After distillation sugar, alcohol and mineral water are added, resulting in a distinctive, balanced spirit with pronounced notes of cucumber, pine, anise and fresh herbs.
