Chateau Croix Mouton 2013

Chateau Croix Mouton 2013, Bordeaux Superieur 2013. Chateau Croix Mouton is a property of the Janoueix family. The Chateau has been built during the XVIIth century in a very pure and classical style. Located in the Entre-Deux Mers region, the vineyard’s soil is clavey and alluvial on 82 hectares and clavey and chalky on 6 hectares. This type of soil is perfectly fitted for Merlot and Cabernet Franc varieties. Thanks to the Janoueix family’s know how, this estate is managed with great care to produce the best quality wines.
Soft, supple red with plums and juicy blackberry fruit. Well made and balanced with freshness. A great effort from this over achieving Bordeaux Superieur!
James Suckling: 90-91
We are celebrating the final month of our year-long anniversary party with what we consider a star – the 2013 Château Croix-Mouton Bordeaux Superiore. Bordeaux fans may remember the 2010 vintage of this wine which was fantastic. Nancy and I loved the 2013 and decided to feature this at a great price. What a great way to end the year with a memorable Bordeaux.
